It doesn't matter how the pup turns out the breeding and dogs behind the pup has a lot to do with how the pup will turn out and what the pup will produce itself. Didn't you read what benthere posted? A single good dog doesn't create a family of good dogs and producers that takes consistency and hard work and being selective with breedings. Once you taint a breeding with crap the gene pools become tainted and consistency is lost. You can't make good dogs out of crap breedings or by selecting crap dogs to breed and as benthere stated should a good dog come from crap it will revert to the crap it comes from when bred .It is what it is.. these guys IM, TDK, and Benthere all know what they are talking about they are not blowing smoke up your ass. But you do what you want it's your pup and your name attached to it.

IM, you're saying culled for ill temperament? I've heard about Geronimo II, Maud, and a few others but none of the Hemphill/Wilder OFRN dogs that I've seen in person were aggressive towards people at all.

I must have missed the letter as I have no clue. Which dog? Can you repost or send me a link?

 

I think the whole point is if you were looking for performance dogs you wouldn't have ever fucked around with that topside. To me its no different than having Gotti or Razors Edge on topside. If your looking to take your pup to dog shows and have a pretty one to walk in the park your good, if you want one that can hunt in the woods......

The foundation of Wilder dogs is Hemphill. Yes I do mean Wilder dogs generations down as in what Carzy Horse wrote. We all knew about Reckless Red and others. G II was Maud sire and son of Geronimo. It has always been a problem in that line.
