Yeah his favorite sport is catching hares.

And to answer Hammerheads question "would you let him" well it's not been s so much a point of letting him a few people have rocked up to his owners farm and let there dogs out.
Mainly BullArabs other working hunting dogs hybrid crosses that are popular in the area they live, they don't just let them off anymore.
He's dog enough for his owners they love him to bit's.
I'd have less weight on if he was mine but he fits the bill for their needs he hunts, works cattle, keeps vermin down and acts as guard dog and companion.

Hey Greg it's been a while hope you and yours are well, how's Jeep doing if you are every up this way fell free to drop in and see the crew.

Yeah Jaykay he's a big unit his sire is the same height maybe a quarter inch taller, I don't run him as heavy as this boy I generally have him at around 50lbs and a couple of months ago stripped him down to 44 lbs.

Definatley a stout guy you got there, wandering what you think his conditioned weight would be? Low to mid 50's, just a guess.

Here's one of his sire not as heavily built in the back end as the young fella. This dog is about 52 pounds in this photo, and recovering from being stripped down to 44lbs atm I'm putting some more muscle on him before I strip him back again. And most of the red dogs Wallyy has posted will be related to my lot.

The young fella his sire g/sire, gg/sire are all athletic 19-20inch dogs.

@scrap24 "Definatley a stout guy you got there, wandering what you think his conditioned weight would be? Low to mid 50's, just a guess."

As I said I've had his sire down to mid 40's but I've seen his gg?sire down to under 40lbs while I don't think bringing the young fella down that low would get the best out of him but high 40's should be easy enough to do.

@Curtisshield "wow lovely example.. catching hares?? wow he must be quick.."

Yeah he's quick fast off the mark and quick turning. It's not a one off either he's caught 5 over the last few months.

Saw the first dog 5 days ago, and couldn't believe the condition his owners had him in simply awesome. I asked his owner what they'd been doing with him and they replied that they have a large hay shed and that basically has steps from ground level to 30 plus feet high and he runs and jumps up and down the stack chasing vermin for hours at a time.

The dog looks smooth standing still then when he moves you can see nearly every muscle fiber and sinew.

Then went on a trip to see some other young dogs on the weekend f'k me it was a great dog week for me.

I think Wally has posted a photo of one of the dogs on another thread he is a screamer.
