This is a very healthy breed, at least among the ADBA-bred bulldogs with which I am most familiar. The most common health problems are: 1) Skin problems. Demodectic mange - an immune-related problem cured with mitaban dips and ivermectin). Allergies - very difficult and often costly to diagnose and treat. Sometimes these can make a dog smell pretty bad. You may need to see a canine allergy specialist. 2) Hip displasia. Diagnosed with x-rays and repaired with costly surgery. 3) Tumors, both benign and cancerous. See a vet about any suspicious growths. White and light colored dogs can get skin cancer, so avoid excessive sun exposure.

I found this little artice on a website while i was killing time. I thought it was something the patrons of this site might find usefull and enjoy. I deleted a few things to make it straight to the point and informative. Hope it helps!!
