    years ago before they were "too dangerous" for the kids, we had an old wooden barrel like that at the playground in a city park. open on both ends and probably 8 feet deep and 6 foot inside diameter. there was a couple of us thatd run in em with our dogs and it was a workout for you and your dog...you didnt wanna fall down tho, inertia is a bitch LOL
