COOLBAUGH TWP., Pa. - Authorities in the Poconos are seeking justice for a dog that was found hogtied to a pole and left for dead. Officials say a female pitbull was found Thursday night in a private residential community in Coolbaugh Township, Monroe County. According to the A.W.S.O.M Facebook page, the "super sweet" 4-year-old dog was immediately taken to a veterinarian for treatment and is now in the care of the Animal Welfare Society of Monroe County.

Since taking her in, caretakers at the shelter have named her "Baby Girl." Officials say "Baby Girl" is suffering from a severe case of mange and extremely swollen feet, but is currently "resting comfortably." Authorities are looking for the person responsible. Anyone with information is asked to called the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department.

Holy craps...I feel bad for that dog. Don't know how some people can do this to their own dogs.
