Just wondering if anyone has had or notice their dogs chewing there feet or legs... Seems like they are itching but i'm not sure if there is a issue.. I treat for bugs often and don't think this is the problem.. maybe dry skin?? or from running in tall grass? some type of irritation or allergy?

Most likely a allergy. What are you feeding currently?

Usually feet chewing is concurrent with contact allergies (usually to grasses) or food allergies (usually to grains, beef, or chicken). It can also be from bordem. like already mentioned, what r u feeding?

well then, i'm willing to bet it's something in the environment that's causing your problem.... after you run them in tall grass, wipe off their legs and feet, this can help. also, you can get Genesis Spray or Betagen Spray which helps a lot with itching, and follow up with some bitter apple spray to help keep their mouths off of it.

and/or try giving a zyrtec once daily and see if it helps.

or try to replace the olive oil, and if that doesnt work, try to feed other animals.

take in mind that you dont see results within the week. if u decide to eliminate stuff from the food, seeing the right result can take up to 6 weeks. but if doesnt slightly improve or gets worse within 2/3 weeks id try something else
