Just a poem I wanted to share

Here is a poem that I wrote today that I wanted to share with everyone.

American Pit Bull Terrier​

You’re happy and loyal​

Hyper and kind​

So good with children​

But people run and hide when they hear your name​

You are an American Pit Bull Terrier​

The best dog of them all​

They can’t see your good side​

They are too close minded​

They don’t see the gentle kisses you give​

They don’t see your charm​

They only see what the media wants them to see​

They only see when you fight​

They think you are vicious​

They think you will kill their cute little poodles ​

When they look at you they see a fighting machine​

They see an animal that is not fit to live​

I wish they would just get to know you​

I wish they would just try and see​

How good you are on the inside​

How pure your soul truly is​
