Life is short. Real short. & time is something you just don't get back no matter how you try.
We just want to share to those just starting out a simple fact when it comes to these dogs.


BELIEVE NONE OF WHAT YOU HEAR & ONLY HALF OF WHAT YOU SEE!!


You see 30 yrs ago A lot had dogs but no papers to them. Not every body but a lot.
People were still crossing & mixing even falsifying pedigrees to throw folks off so that could duplicate there breeding's ! " Secret Recipe's" as they would say.
You can have the dog but not the recipe! Heard that one once or twice before.
They would tell you. You can buy the dog but they are not selling papers to go with them.
That's how a lot of dogs started out in the hoods back in the 70's.
That's why it was more important to learn how to breed than it was how a dog was bred.

That's a fact & not talk. It takes some one else to tell you the same thing I'm saying now for most to believe but be around long enough & you'll hear the same thing again from someone else
20yrs ago there were no internet most real dogmen didn't care about the breeding 1st.
It was only after a hog hunt that they would get into it.
If it didn't hunt then who cared how it was bred? No one. It wasn't going to get bred so it didn't matter.
You could have a dog daddy daughter off jeep &if it jumped & ran ,know one would breed to that bs. But these day's they'll jump on it & even lie about it knowing the truth.
That what kind of people you have these days.
Don't worry about other people dogs & how they are bred.
Just worry about if it's better than yours actually working on a weight pull. Better looking in a confirmation & so on.
Because the fact is , if your not Patrick & you didn't make that breeding & didn't work that dog then leave Patrick name out of the concvo.
TALK ABOUT WHAT YOU DID & NOTHING ELSE.
Because you ain't him.
That's just the way I was brought up.
Now this is your heads up for those who didn't already now this.
When it comes to dogs deal with the facts of those that did the work.
Stories change & lies become the story.
Some dogs are no tougher that that piece of paper. So don't be impressed by papers.
Some people will study & learn every dogs breeding but never breeds dogs themselves.
We just have always called them Pedigree Pimps & Paper Dragons.
Papers don't validate your dogs as being good dogs. You do.

 

Dead men don't tell stories..the ones that are still alive do...I heard that the other day...and thought it went hand in hand with the dogs and Dogmen.
