I agree with some of the comments about instinct, but for you since your pup is young and you want to try to socialize with other dogs this is my advice because both my pits were just like this at a young age: Limit the play time, when your dog gets mad it's time to separate and take a break, this is what we do. I know that once they both are full grown it's probably not going to work out. You have to always keep a constant eye, these people know what they are talking about, massive damage can happen in a few seconds, they are looking out for their breed they don't like to see any sloppy ownership there is enough bad publicity on these dogs. Read up on behavior! Not all pitbulls are like that, well neither are all dogs, if you already see aggression use caution. Bulldog people are defensive because they hate seeing their breed mishandled, just take it with a grain of salt and try to learn.

I just feel bad for her, if he's turning up now, he definitely will later. Keep your eyes wide open during playtime. People need to learn you can't turn a pit into a lab. No matter how much of a petbull you have. Would you buy a dodge truck thinking it would ride like a audi.. shoulda just bout an audi..i know its hurts people to read the advice, becuse it makes them feel like the breed they want to "save" is actually or can actually be the cold blooded killer the media made it. When really its the same people "saving" them that way, that are killing them... i dont let any of my dogs play offleash, especially after 12 weeks, its to unpredictable and ive hd to clean my entire carpet from a bloody, very bloody litter fight. Im not into that or ever want to see that sight again.. bloody pups, hooked teeth, liced ears and one young pup never recovered .. i was young but im smarter now.. these are loyal faithful dogs, to people not a pack.

Its a broad statement, but its true. No joke about it. The day you slack is the day you come out to a cold stiff dog.

Bre92 you have been given great advice, don't be an idiot; listen to the advice. Also don't insult other people who know more than you and are using their knowledge and time to try to help you.

I would just give the dog to someone who knows them...its this kind of blatant ignorance that our dogs on the News for disemboweling another dog during a "playdate."and with our luck your feeding the next GrCH 35. Your playing with fire, one mistake could cost the lives of two dogs, your friends and your own once its put down. This breed doesn't need anymore scrutiny.
