Proper feeding and workout schedule

Discussion in 'Health & Nutrition' started by trish APBT, Dec 17, 2011.

  1. Hi guys,

I need some help.. I have a pit 9mos old by now.. Even before when she was still 4mos old she wouldn't go for 3x feeding schedule.. She is ok with twice a day feeding until now.. But there are times as well that she doesn't eat at all.. But she's ok, i had her checked at the vet many times..

Do you think now that she's 9mos old, would it be ok to feed her just once a day? 'Coz when i feed her once a day, she mostly eat her food daily..

And i started taking her to a long walk and a slow - moderate running, an average of 30mins running.. Is it ok? Or it's too early for those kind of activities?

I hope you guys could help me and share some ideas..

    Thanks!

Once a day is sufficient. She's still a pup, dont work her too hard. Goodluck!!!

    Thanks again!

With my pig dogs i get em out with my other dogs doing everything from early age running them and stuff i start that when i think they can keep up maybe 3 months but if your thinking of walking i'd be doing it soon as you can get it to stop cart wheeling on end of lead little hades 4 weeks old.jpg I kept the dog on the right he was catching good boars at 6 months old

once my dogs get over 10 months or they show signs of maturity, i switch them to feeding 3-4 cups a night, and 1 cup in the morning. If they do not bother the food within 3min then take it, and do not feed them unitl there next feed scheduled

  10. Thanks guys!

Right now I've been feeding her 3 cups once a day.. Though there are times that she doesn't want to eat, i just take it and feed her again on the next day feeding schedule.. She seems to be ok with that, she's not losing weight as well so I guess i'll stick with that..

About her workout, i just take her for a walk for just 10-20mins whenever i have time.. I guess i'll still wait for a few months before i take to the next level of workouts..
