Starting an older dog?

  1. Just wondering if anyone has advise/tips on beginning from scratch with the older dog.
    Dog in question is 3.

    Does anything need be done different?

    advice/tips for? if the dogs hasnt pulled at all- try just getting them used to the harness walking, slowly add some light weight and progress form there. slow and steady wins the race
    patience is the key

    And sorry,probably should of added a bit more info.
    Dog in question has had no pull experience at all.
    So I'd be looking at evaluating his acceptance and drive of the harness and then weight.

    If he's bred tight it's in his prime i dont care what anybody say's he/she is READY!!!

    Lots of dogs like that & cant make the cut. 3 is not a exact age some are sooner some later. The guys with the " good" dogs have patently wate for there stuff to come around.
