Im happy to say that with alot of help from the community that our pound now does adopt out pit bulls. The new policy reads as following
1.Potential adopter completes application. 2. Ross County Humane Society staff conduct home visit. 3. Background investigation through the appropriate law enforcement officeis requested by Ross County Humane Society Staff. Completed report is received by staff and notation of approval and date is made on application. 4. If the adopter is approved, they will complete an adoption contract and pay the appropriate fees. 5 The animal will be spayed/ neutered. 6. the adopter will receive the animal when the veterinarian releases its care.
