Weight Pulling Harness

Who Do You Guys Suggest i Get a Weight pullin harness from?....Think Im Gonna Try it out looks fun.:cool:

 

We use CDPits harnesses here. Missy (Mopulldogs on this board) makes some very nice harnesses, too.

 

I've always had www.brownspitbullconnection.com harness'. BUT that is only because I never heard of the others untill recent. Are the others built constructed any better? The main reason I used Troy is because he is a puller himself with some heavy pullers, so I figured that he builds his own that his form has function. Anyone care to post up their "dealings" with other harness makers, possibly show what or why you feel they are superb so to speak? I am looking to get a few new ones myself (in ORANGE of course!). And I like the lasting effect of what I purchase. So far mine from Troy are going on 4 years old and worn by a slew of dogs pulling as well as a volunteer hrness as the fun shows. Still runnin strong, color is ragged no matter how many times I wash her tho. So I gotta re-up!

I have been pulling compeititively for over 20+yrs now and I am very picky about harness fit. There are alot of harness makers out there but most of them don't pull very competitively if at all. A lot of the harnesses that I see from other makers pull the dog up higher and higher in the front end the heavier the weight gets or the back straps are flapping in the wind or in the totally wrong position. The folks that I make competition harnesses for tend to be the pickiest of the picky in the APA & ADBA when it comes to harness fit lol ;-). My harness are also designed to keep the dogs head position low when pulling and evenly distribute the weight across their body to prevent injury and undue stress. I will need to know the exact weight of your dog and the measurement from your dogs breastbone to the front of the shoulders, one side only (in inches)...

It will usually take 10-15 working days or less (M-F) from reciept of payment for harnesses to be shipped out. (I have had to adjust prices slightly ($5) due to increases in my costs for materials). The colors of webbing available for a #14-18 are Red, Royal Blue, Kelly Green and Black. The colors available for the other sizes are Red, White, Royal Blue, Black, Green, Silver, Gold, Yellow, Purple, Sky Blue, Navy Blue, Orange and Brown...any solid or combo of colors. Other colors can be ordered for an additional charge at times.

The fur colors available are Red, Hot Pink, Neon Green, Navy Blue, White,Black, Royal Blue, Purple,Baby Blue, Brown and Natural Sheep Skin color(other colors available for an extra charge. All harnesses size #18 and up come already wrapped and padded around the neck.
