choice of blood if you had one

which bloodline would you most likely try to aquire if you had the opportunity
im learning alot here and im taking it all in.. i understand theres alot of history out there... i like what i got ...but some folks ask me stuff .. about mim's dogs and sorrel and everything else.. all i can say is what is in mine .. and that i like them very much..i know 6 other people just started (5yrs) owning pits and would like to have some more in the near future .. however.. looking for a bloodline to aquire in the future is very hard not knowing what is best... so in
your personal opinions ,,,,, what if any bloodline would you aquire for your own family (gamedogs) if you could get it.. the folks i know will be looking for new members in approx a years time...thanks all for the info

 

It is really a matter of taste. What I like may be different than someone else. I like the Nigerino stuff. Why? Partly because I live in the same city where he lived. So it is kind of a tradition here. I also like some of the Chinaman stuff.

I have become really intersted in the S.T.P's Buck and the Skull ROM blood also. My first pitbull was a heavy bred Nigerino dog. She also had a bit of Chinaman and Hall. I couldn't ask for a better dog. I have also really liked the other Nigerino dogs I have been around, as far as temperment and personality. Just my opinion though.

 

If your not sure which blood to run, the only thing you can do is start acquiring good dogs. Try a bunch for yourself, dont worry about the blood, just get good dogs. When you find one that encompasses what your looking for, maybe thats the direction you'll want to take your yard.

Im really like the Colby stuff myself. The dogs I have seen have been awesome.

 

I'd have to say Tatonka and Sorrells both because that's where I started gaining my knowledge about game dogs and found the truth about APBTs', so I feel like I owe alot to them even though I have never spoke to them personally but their sites alone have helped me and I really do like their dogs.

cant say i would be to anxious to change the main blood i have always fed wich is colby.i always have fed colby and i always will and i know that wont change for me anyways.but recently here i got me some pure boudreaux dogs and i like them also only had em bout a year but i am pleased with how they act and the physical conformation of them so i will most likely have them from now on also.

 

Who knows? I love my Norrod's stuff, & I love my Bolio stuff. I also love my Boudreaux stuff. I even like my scatterbred pup who's proven a very worthy mouth to feed. I even like my little Barney dog. And I canNOT wait to branch out with whatever Marty & Shon throw my way.

i love the old school old family red nose type of dogs like hemphill,wilder,red devil, the first dog i ever had was an old family red nose i will never turn my back on them.

I saw many good dogs on this board. Exelent dogs. But if you ask me about one special blood, some times back I read about a breeder with the name Carl Mims .There was a pic from a dog with the the name Mims Mose.....if I could chose I would try to get a taste of that....cant explain it but this dog looked realy good to me....

I really love Viperaseru Blood. Foundation of Mr Boudreaux dogs over 30 years ago. I love that ole man. I met him when I was a young boy with my grandfather and I was so impressed with him I had to have some of his dogs. I never looked back. This past year is the first dog that I aquired out of that. But to tell you the truth I never met a normal dog I didn't like. Blood line or not. It is all good to me.

LOL Should be getting a tight Thor/Queen of hearts 6 mth old Female.Be on my yard by the end of the week if all goes right. After this bitch, I'm done with any new dogs till winter is over.

 

Not knowing too entirely much on bloodlines, there a few a I like...I like what my male is, Bullhill's Red Bullet and Budweiser Crusher...but I'm interested in the Chinaman dogs.
