1981 Stratton Book

I have this book I would like to sell....trying to raise the funds for my one female who has epilepsy so she can get a liver ultrasound since her levels have been going up....Ultrasound is going to be a min of $500 where we have to go....


I have a Hardcover 1981 Stratton book "The book of the American Pit Bull Terrier" in Like New condition.....

man all the old books and mags sell for hella high look on ebay its fkin ridiculous but its a rare part of history if i had the money to blow i would buy alot of what i see

 

man i am glad i got mine back then $20 and $30 and still have them.

 

shit i got mine off his website a few years ago sighed by him for like 60$. & the other one at borders for around 40$. are they out of print or something?

 

Stick it on e-bay set the reserve and see if it gets any where near your asking price you might get lucky if you do i'll sell you my copy for $100 then you can make a profit on that . :rolleyes:

 

I just went on Ebay and then on Amazon to see how much I could sell it and another one for....and the cheapest on Amazon was around $140 w/o shipping...some of the weirdo's on Ebay had them for like $400!? Who knows what people will pay for it... I think it must be out of print or something.....all I know is if I can get any money to help my girl I'll sell it LOL

I prolly will put it on ebay at some point if I dont sell it on the site's its listed.

maybe, i i actually got the big one, the little one, and i lost the 3rd.

i also have an old one thats written by somebody named "wayne d, brown" its in horrible condition, but still readable.

 

Got mine from book a million a 3years ago for 35 bucks

 

the book your selling is availible in any borders store world wide for less than half the price you are selling it for.
chuck it on ebay and see how you go, some idiot may even pay what you are asking. good luck i hope it works out for you.

did not know he did a book called courage but was not overly impressed with the last one he did for tfh lost alot of fire in my opinion.

 

I looked at our borders and also online.....not there and they said they couldnt order it because it was out of print. There are two that seem to have the same "name" by stratton....however the one w/ just a single red dog on the front, and is kinda blue color over all, is the one I have and that is the one Ive found on other sites for more money...ebay's estimates are the crazy ones....

I admit...I only paid like $50 for it years ago....off of ebay....and there were others on at that time for around that price...but not now.....

Im hoping to find some weirdo that will pay for it so I can get my baby her medical tests...

If you look hard enough you can find Stratton's second,third and fourth books for around $70 or less.I just got his third book on ebay for $50,and I'm looking into his second book now.I got his first book at small pet store for $15 a long time ago.I remember ordering the other three from Border's books.The first book is so small I'll wait to find it for $50 or less,and as someone else mentioned the final book was a bit of a let down.Ebay prices change all the time
