Pit island kennel

hi everyone
I was looking to buy another dog. I've been looking into pit island kennels in ny. Really can't much on them other than their web site. Does or has anyone dealt with them or know how their dogs are? Thanks for any help

Seen one off midnight to a boomer female that sure was a looker.

 

I had a bitch heavy bred the pit island blood very game not much mouth but it's descent.

 

Thanks for the info guys. How long ago did U have the bitch? From what they say it was crossed for a hard mouth?

 

What was crossed? PIK has Jeep Rascal blood, Yellow blood, Redboy blood and they have or had some of that Hardcore blood (Redboy Jocko Jeep Rascal).

 

She was put to rest about this time last year. I really liked her drive but she didn't have the kick that was needed to compete.

Put to rest? Was she too old to use as brood?

 

Would u buy another from them? When u did how was the whole process? Did u have an issue with getting paper work and health info? Heard some stuff not in favor.

 

Good questions here C...I have never put one down for lack of talent , also talent can be added.

 

I have never heard of anyone that had any issues with this camp.Never done buisness with them but we have some members here that have and I haven't heard anything bad on these guys.I am not speaking about the quality of the product as we all know good and bad comes from all families.If you could get a pup from these guys , I'd say give it hell.

 

Agree. If I like it I'm keepin it. If it's decent but not my style I'd give it to a partner. Breed the game dogs show the talented ones IMO

 

Thanks. I kind of thought that as well cuz if it were bad we'd know right? That's why I didn't knock them or say what I heard not here to knock anyone. I hear a lot of good things from them. And the dogs.

 

Yes I would buy another one in a heart beat. I just am real hard on my program cause I expect the competition is just as hard on their's. She was broken down pretty badly but was no style really or wrestling ability but a bulldog. Paperwork was no problem I went to them through a mutual friend.

 

I am rough on mine. Because I expect the other camps to be just as rough. She missing 1 attribute yes brood pen but I have a profile I look for and she would of won for someone but not into the comp I like to see. I'd rather lose to a great dog than beat a small fry.
