Southeastern APBTC ADBA Show-Oct 31, 2009

    Location: Taylorsville Fairgrounds

    The Southeastern APBTC (NC) will host 2 conformation shows and 1 weight pull in one day at the Taylorsville Fairgrounds in Taylorsville, NC. Ch and Ace classes will be held if pre-entries allow. Please contact Esther 704-740-8774 or 704-740-7589, Robin 704-913-6619 or Sara 704-735-4313
    You can pre-register online with a credit or debit card until the Sunday prior to the event. You may also register the morning of the event with a check or cash.

    Judges are Michelle Falcon and Jeff Neer. Weightpull judge is Barry Marlowe.

    Usually registration starts at 7 or 8, and the show usually is supposed to start around 9 or 10, but I am not 100% sure. Anyone?

    Saturday October 31st AT
    The Taylorsville Lions Club FAIRGROUNDS
    170 Fairgrounds Rd. Taylorsville, North Carolina
    TWO SHOWS SATURDAY AND ONE WEIGHT PULL, THE SECOND SHOW
    WILL BEGIN DIRECTLY AFTER THE FUN CLASSES, THE FUN CLASSES WILL BE HELD BETWEEN THE FIRST AND SECOND CONFORMATION SHOW
    GATES WILL OPEN AT 7:00 AM REGISTRATION WILL START AT 7:30 AM
    There WILL BE A $2.00 LATE CHARGEPER ENTRY FOR ANYONE REGISTERING AFTER 9:00 AM
    REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE AT 9:00 AM THE FIRST SHOW STARTS AT 9:30 AM
    Admission Charges at the Gate will be Adults $3.00 Children 12 and Under $1.00
    Weight Pull begins at 11:00am – Conformation begins at 10:00 am
    Registration Fee is $18.00 per dog, per event
    FUN CLASSES WILL BE HELD BETWEEN THE FIRST AND SECOND SHOW
    Fun Classes: Judges Choice Male Best Costume Dog and Handler, Judges Choice Female Best Costume Dog and Handler, and
    Junior Handler Best Costume Dog and Handler
    CH of CH and Ace of Ace will be held if pre-entries permit CH of CH will be split if Pre-Entries allow
    Please Call Esther at 704-740-8774 by Oct 1st if you are bringing a CH of CH or ACE of ACE this is a Must
    ALL A.D.B.A. / ADBSI RULES APPLY AND WILL BE ENFORCED
    All dogs are required to have proof of Rabies Vaccination
    Crates are required for all dogs on the Show Grounds
    One Dog per Crate/ 4 ft Leads and Buckle Collars Only
    Only A.D.B.A. Registered American Pit Bull Terriers Allowed in Shows
    NO Unattended Children / NO Human Aggressive Dogs or Dog Aggressive Humans
    No Quick release, Choke or Spiked Collars, NO Facing off of Dogs
    No Females in Heat in Shows/ Drugs and Alcohol are prohibited on the Fairgrounds

    DIRECTIONS
    FROM I-40 EAST TAKE EXIT 148, FOLLOW HIGHWAY 64 WEST TOWARDS TAYLORSVILLE, TAKE EXIT 254
    TURN LEFT AT STOPLIGHT ON TO HWY 16 SOUTH (IT IS THE FIRST OVERPASS YOU WILL COME TO )
    GO ABOUT 2 MILES AND THE FAIRGROUNDS ARE ON YOUR RIGHT.
    FROM I-40 WEST TAKE EXIT 132, FOLLOW SIGNS FOR 16 NORTH TOWARDS TAYLORSVILLE. ONCE IN ALEXANDER TRAVEL APPROXIMATELY 7 OR 8 MILES AND THE FAIRGROUNDS WILL BE ON YOUR LEFT.

    I doubt it. We will be leaving on Sunday in order to get back home, rest a little, and be at work on Monday.

    That stinks. We are trying to get it done fast on Sunday, so, people can get home, but I understand.

    Got another question.....does anyone know/someone find out if the champions class is split ? I have a CH female i might bring for a friend if the class is split....she needs a few points for GD.:confused:

    It's about a 2.5 hour drive from us, but I would love to go and possibly take pictures! I've never been to an APBT show of any kind before, I bet it will be awesome :cool: I'll finally get a chance to see some real dogs up close... I live in SC and have never seen a "real" pit bull.

    some of the best dogs in the history of the breed have been from south carolina.
