Discussion in 'Dog Discussion' started by blanch, Feb 9, 2010.

  1. For the last time nobody said the gamedog could not kill the badger FFS. The question was if it was a test for gameness do you get that now so I dont have to keep typing the same shite all night

it wouldnt be a fuckin game test either...your living in your own little fantasy world over there... a gametest consists of losing and still being willing to fight..and since you agree the bulldog will kill it then how is that a game test? you cant kill something thats moping the floor with you..so go ahead and keep typing the same "Shite" all night..you know nothing of a gametest if you think the animal "dog" used to test other dogs was the one losing..if so its not a gametest just a fight...thats why the few dogs that were never fully tested in the history of this breed werent..because they were usually the Aces or the ones with a freakish mouth that you couldnt put behind...accept it your logic is elementary

you don't have to keep typing the same thing, its not a gametest,, its a hunting terrier test, witch is an old school method at that, the dog makes it out of a wild badgers hole, then it can be called a test, not the box tunnel style badger testing.

an such a test is for Patterdales only, and other quarry hunting dogs, , you don't hunt foxes in box tunnels and all your terriers game do you?,

cause the fox is smart enough to run for all its got, then turn and fight, badgers hide cause its scared in the first place, or it would fight up on the ground, not underground, where it goes. Where it feels safe and has a fighting chance!!

  12. Once upon a time there was a test in Ireland called the "Teastas mor" this was run by the Irish Kennel Club and there were rules and regs that the dog had to follow otherwise he failed. If you google it you will see all the rules. There was also another test called the Federation that was a harder test run by working men aswell, you might find info on this on google
A badger for the last time is noway near as much of a test as another gamedog but it can and will make a mess of a dog as it is fighting for its life in is its own enviroment in the ground not out in a field. I hope this now puts an end to anymore confusion by our American friends

all it proves is your dog will bark and grab and hold a trapped animal, not a test I'd say, but a way to see if your dogs claustrophobic, and or a pussie! what did you think the out come was going to bring??!! kind of oldshool thinking, no?

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]6. Sounders are expected to go the ground with alacrity. you got a 12lb terier that goes after badgers you could say it brave for sure, but not a gametest, that terrier could quit at anytime, it never went to deaths door, and back, it grabbed and held on for dear life! :D hoping you could dig faster! , and they probably lost a few dogs ,s o said fuck it how can we make it easier, hell we won't even use wild badgers, we will tame them, and test are dogs with tame badgers! Cheers you crazy english basterds! :D
