Chain Sleeve

Does Anybody make something to cover the chain up ? It's been cutting my dog under his arm,and it also leaves a gray color on her (since she's white). Was thinking of sumthing like a sleeve or sumthin i run the chain through. somthing durable???Ever heard of sumthing like this? or sumthing i could use??thanks

 

do you sew? if so just go by wally world or any fabric place and pick a color and something soft and just sew up you own sleeve i think that would be the easiest and quickest way. imo

 

I was thinking neoprene tubing (sorta the way some bike chains for locks are) but it may be too tempting to chew then the dog might break a tooth if he bit through it. Whatever you use, you don't want them to be tempted to bite on it. Dental work is $$$$$. Maybe better to reevaluate the swivels, rings and placements to see if you can fix it that way if you haven't already. However, I've never chained my dog since I don't have a yard so I may not have any idea what I'm talking about. It happens frequently with me..... :-P

 

Use fire hose.

 

I don't know about that, but I know they sell vinyl coated chain, maybe that would work? If she doesn't chew on it...

 

if it's just for around the neck would it really matter if they want to chew it or not they can't reach it unless you have it hanging off there neck enough for them to slip out

 

I think it's for a chain set up, like a tether...not a collar type chain, I don't agree with them.
