Handwalking for a couple hours (1 to 3 hours) realy benefits your dog condition and yourself to:) . Run beside the bike or jogging in a closed area without cars or lose dogs is a good one to. When the weather is bad a mill would be nice. Springpole or flirtpoles are also realy fun for the dogs.
Always start slow and make the workouts longer each time, so start with a couple of minutes. The first times are for learning the dog how to do the workouts. Look for a workout which the dogs like to do.

    good luck.

    Heres something simple

    2inch collar + 10ft lead

Put your Nike's on and hit the road. Start with 1hr day and increase according to YOUR personal fitness, you'll never out walk your dog. Work your way up to 3hrs, this would be a good start
