    Chibougamau, Quebec ( breed-specific.. bans pit bulls & Rottweilers)Chapais, Quebec( breed-specific..bans pit bulls & Rottweilers)
    Mariposa Township (NON-breed-specific)
    St. Paul, Alberta (NON-breed-specific)
    Sherbrooke (breed-specific)
    Toronto (wants to ban many pets) (dated December 1998)
    Windsor, Ontario (breed-specific proposal)(June 19, 1998)
    Winnipeg has BANNED pit bulls.


    DENMARK has BANNED pit bull terriers, Tosa Inu and any mixes thereof.

    FINLAND has BANNED dogs with 'wolf blood' in them excluding the Saarloos Wolfhond and Czech Wolfdog

    FRANCE BANS and Breed Specific Restrictions including Rottweilers (dated 3/19/99)

    HOLLAND/The Netherlands has BANNED pit bulls since 1993.


    3/99 Restrictions on other breeds including Rottweilers

    1/2000 [​IMG] Some cities are taxing (or plan to tax) dogs by weight




    NEW ZEALAND


    NORWAY has BANNED pit bull terriers


    POLAND has breed-specific legislation in effect as of January 8, 1999


    PUERTO RICO has BANNED 'pit bulls'.


    SWEDEN has BANNED all dogs with any 'wolfblood' in them including the 2 FCI recognized dogs, Saarloos Wolfhond and Czech Wolfdog.
