Going to try build a slatmill

UPDATE

heres the detail for the rail to be bolted on top of the frame for attraching the chains for the dog to be locked in. two of these will be required,

the reason im not having them welded is so i can drill holes along the top of the frame so the location can be adjusted to suit ea individual dogs running style

The fabricator has all the plans and will have my frame done by the weekend if all goes well....

aus, ive been busy with family issues and the death of a bro. when i get home after runnin around ill dig that GD digest out and see if i can get it scaned in tommorow or monday. Dont remember what year, march 84' maybe. Its got butcher boy on the cover w/ a big write up about Mr. Hootens dogs. Anyway ill do my best to get er done quickly.

How the making of the slats coming along ?

 

ive cut them all, will sand them all back, clean up the edges, drill the holes and begin painting them this weekend hopefully,

picking up my frame in an hour so pretty keen to see how its come out

 

Just picked up the frame on my lunch break, no pics as im at work, all i can say is i am impressed with the workmanship of the fabricator, was worth every cent i payed. he used 40x40x3mm steel and the frame looks awesome and it hasnt even been painted yet...
