Hybrid vigor in dogs: fact or fiction

    i thought a high level of heterosis occurred when two genetically very different animals are bred together,obviously the extreme would be 2 different species but inbred animals are genetically evolving at a higher rate so crossing two inbred dogs of different unrelated strains is the best way to get a high level of heterosis.

    dont quote me on any of that lol it'd be interesting to hear someone knowledgeable speak on the subject.
