    my wire haired female Athena went missing a few years back in middle of a rainy january. found her 2.5 days later where she had dug into a massive series of skunk dens under a neighbors house. rocks fell in behind her digging and trapped her. end result= 4 dead skunk and a hungry dog i had to dig out with the palm of my hand after sliding on my belly 50 feet under the house. i will be honest it was my oldest and best dog and i cried a bit after gettin her out of there alive.
