    Manchester Animal Shelter Offers Free Pit Bull Programs

    MANCHESTER, N.H. -- The Manchester Animal Shelter is offering a series of free programs for pit bulls and their owners.

    The shelter is offering free spay and neuter services for pit bulls and pit bull mixes belonging to Manchester residents. Free rabies vaccinations and micro-chipping services are also available.

    The shelter also said that any pit bulls or pit bull mixes brought to the shelter are taken to obedience classes and anyone who adopts a pit bull is given five weeks of obedience training.
