Can anyone tell me if dogs produce Pregnenolone?

    Thanks,

  2. Good question, but my guess would be if they do it's in small amounts and only when young. It would also depend on their diet. If you discover any factual data please post it.

Just wondering, what got you thinking and wanting to know?

    Thanks for the reply man.

Pregnenolone makes testosterone and cortisol (the stress hormone)
B5 (Pantothenic Acid) turns in Acetyl CoA which then turns into Pregnenolone, this either turns into DHEA which then turns into testosterone, or it turns into cortisol depending on whether you`re going to breed or have a fight.

Just putting a few thing`s down and wanted to be 100% as to whether it was the same in dog`s or not, I would have assumed it was but wanted to throw it out there to see if anyone knew for sure. When you do strenuous exercise you produce cortisol.
