Presents For Pitties 2009

This year Presents for Pitties will be raising funds for the dogs in the care of Measle's Animal Haven and to help Measle's continue with their community outreach programs. In 2009, Measle's expanded their efforts to help pit bulls by teaming together with Pittie's Place and HELP FIDO. With this partnership Measle's was able to redouble their efforts and not only save and rehome more pit bulls than ever before, but they were also able to help keep pit bulls in their homes and to help keep more pit bulls from having accidental litters.

Measle's Pit Fix 2009 has been a tremendous success with over 400 owned pit bulls being spayed or neutered. Each pit bull owner was able to have their dog "fixed" and vaccinated for rabies for just $20. By partnering with HELP FIDO, we were able to create a pet food pantry and have distributed over 30,000 pounds of dog food to owners who had hit hard times and couldn't afford to feed their pets. Measle's has hit the streets providing education to pet owners who were at risk of having dogs seized, provided bite prevention education and offered $25 Bully Training Classes. Most dogs have gone on to earn their CGC titles. By partnering with Pittie's Place we have been able to be a strong, recognized voice in the fight against BSL

To "Sponsor a Dog" (donations of $20 or more" Please list the name of the dog you would like to sponsor and the name that should be used to list your sponsorship. . We will add your name below the tree of the dog you have chosen and the tree will be decorated. Dogs may have multiple sponsors.

If you are donating to "Make-A-Space", donations of $50 or more, please tell us what wording you would like on your ornament, and if you prefer a specific color ornament.

"Star Donors" (donations of $100 or more) please tell us what wording you would like on your ornament.
