question? top, bottom

    sorry guys but i have to ask this noob question. what does someone mean when they say their dog is jeep/carver on top, and redboy/eli on bottom? does it have to do with the sire or dam? or the percentage of each bloodline in the dog? ive tried to find the answer for myself and i couldnt so id really appreciate any explanations anyone could give me. thanks for any replies

    Has to do with the ped. Top is the Sire and the Dam is the bottom side.
