Restrepo

Have any of you seen this doco? A friend brought it over and said it was great so i watched it and it belw me away, raw as hell and shows some of the real faces of what goes on over in the war, nearly shook me up a bit to see the blank faces alot of the guys have during the whole thing, lots of raw emotions and certainly makes you apreciate what we all have and what they are doing for us all.

If you havent seen it i recomend it was fully worth watching.

 

Hey Junkyard, I watched Restrepo and I was captivated by every second of that documentary. The part that got to me the most is when one of the men was killed, I cant remember his name which bothers me but..another soldier had such a blank stare on his face and said, if our best fighter just got killed, what's in store for us? It was just as you put it, raw. I also highly recommend checking this documentary out. And to anyone putting their life in harm's way fighting wars for us, I want to say thank you.
