Tattoos For Dogs

I've always heard of ol tymers tattooing there dogs for indentification.....Was wondering if anybody in here has actually got there dogs tattoo'd?(pics?) or has it died out?....just curious:rolleyes: ( i also kept seeing "pit tats" in the most viewed threads ,but it wasnt same topic) Tried to google it but,nothing,....first time google has
let me down

Yep just a few dots is all we did just to ID them if they were stolen. If some one steels your dog its kinda hard to prove they are yours. We just put 3 small dots in the inner stiffle alot of boys would do it in the ear. There is better options now micro chips...

 

I'm all for tatooing your dogs with a litter number and microchipping as well. But most people don't put decorative ink on their pets
