    is the harness at wal- mart ok to use until i get a regular pulling harness.

    Are you going to use the harness for walking only, or for pulling light weights? I wouldn't reccomend a Wal-Mart harness for anything other than a short walk, and definately not for pulling.

    I use a dog seatbelt harness when I have mine pull, simply because I have no reason to invest in a real harness right now.
