Bigger impact in the game??? Eli or Redboy

from looking at the dogs that decacon produced benthere having not seen them myself. i don't see anything i'd take over what midnight cowboy put down. maybe he out produced floyd's yard but not baker's yard & probably not ramsey's rebles jcshaw or mt,mans yard.

 

bigger impact?...if there wasnt eli then what would most of us have? how many dogmen based their yards off of eli strains compared to redboy strains? lets be HONEST here and base your decision on facts NOT personal preference in lines you run. i do not disagree that redboy strains had an impact in bulldog world but nothing like the eli strains have...thats the TRUTH!

you can NOT compear one with the other!!. Eli was around eurlier then the red boy /jocko dogs, as the red boy blood needed this cross to come out and make a name for itself.
Eli blood was carying its own merrit. pure ore crossed. Red boy blood was known for its gamenes but nothing els more. Eli blood the other way around very hard mouthed dogs great stijls, they lackt gamenes but DID produced a fair amound of crawling dogs.
Marice Carved told and advised Bull Plug (Gary Hammonds) that he should cross those Alligator dogs with some Bully eli blood , And he MIGHT loose some gameness over it but the sons and bitches probely never had to prove it!! and boy was he right.
The Eli crosses workt beter then the pure ones just like red boy blood did with Jocko.

As for more impact . It thepends on wat side of the river your standing!!. we have been fooling around with a desend % of eli blood tru our foundation father CH Spike. the famely history is known .
more resendly for the first time Red Boy Jocko hase been used bij some of our close frinds as a exsperimend. word is out but thuse show promise .
Eli in my mind defenatly made a greater impackt in the PAST, but as time passed bye the red boy Jocko blood seem to be more of a bloodline where the less exsperionsed dogman hase more sucses with.
as gamenes ""can"" cuver up the flaws of a dogman!!!!!!!!!".
having said that the most sold and populair bloodline of today thuse the same thing its Eli based as wel non other then Frisco/chinaman blood.
they seem to be so toughf in there first Onslought that they can hide the flaws of a dogman as wel ... The way i see it they are both great material for starters to work with .
till your able to see the light and produce a more ALL round sounder animal that at first looks desend !!, but is desend in everyting you need to see in a bulldog...... These dogs are ofthen found in the hands of dogman that are around for ages, who refuse to jump on the bandwagon of massif mouths and ore what is populair today..
Populair bred famelys withs are bred WAY to often and are sold as hot cakes . loose there merrit and quality a hell of a lot quiker. because of there populairety.
If i would start today i would have stayied away as far as posible from tightbred Eli/ Redboy jocko / frisco chinaman.
And look for blood that is not populair but did last tru the test of time.. your be sirprized what you can find out there!!!.

I would have to say both dogs have a big impact on the game back in time but these days I would have to say here in florda we have made the cross between rbj and ely and they ahave produced and all round great game dog so to me hands down on both bloods but together u will find what dogmen have been trying to find over the years a lot game and mouth this cross is devastating togetjer love both lines as separate and as a cross

 

You guys just don't see how eli was bred do you? Y'all can't see that if eli didn't exist people would have bandwagon on another strain from earl tudor, ELI like I said was just another good texas dog, even what people call 'ELI' I wouldn't call eli they just call them eli cause their BLACK. Did you knew Red Boy,s sire Teals Jeff quit!! as wel. So he produced the gamest yellow john while beeing a cur!!.! Did you knew that 30 years ago there was a rumour that Bas Cleo was supost to be a Daughter of Carvers pistol!!.
There are iven rumors from way back then, that larry Bas lived in the same street /erea as Bob hemphill! . and that Red Boy was a Hembhill dog both bloodlines lookt very simulair in color type and stijls ecetera . same rumour was around that pat patrick used red boy blood in his bolio famely to keep up hybrid viger while selling these awfull tight bred bolio dogs!!!. Lots of them look alike as wel!!!!!!!!!!.

As for the most Famous cur Bullyson . many stories have been told and iven if he was. he sure as hell produced lots of dead game dogs when crossed out!!!. .... Point im trying to make is ""every"" bloodline has its controversy and rumours stories including our own.

I belive that The Eli bloodline has a fake ped build up as wel, if you look at all those black aces of the days that came forward around a time span of 10/15 years like eli jr Bullyson alligator grch Zebo pit general ecetea ecetera ecetera somethin very simulair umongst them one way ore the other..
Point is the eli bloodline and the Red boy bloodline both have earnd ther merrit in history big time in diferend ways.
and they DO seem to work the best when crossed out.
yet today i would NOT go for there pure stock and work witheather one of them, as every swimming dick in the field has it gets it and it hase been bred to death.

Thats funny as hell but the truth is in a sence it could be true. Not really as far as the "game" is concerned but as the way the general public sees these dogs. Those hippos have had a big impact on the people that dont know what a real APBT is.
