After reading my last post it came across the wrong way. I did not mean to demean or belittle what someone else is doing. That was shallow of me. I do not see the $$$ going into the carpet mills advertised. The mill I use and the mills I sell have logged numerous wins so I do believe they are effective. I also believe the mills shown here are effective as well. The price of the mills are beside the point. Any item is worth exactly what someone is willing to pay. I should have left it at that. Best of luck with the mills. US1

Materials, especially those like lumber, vary in price depending on species, region, time of year,supply/demand,etc.To assume that your market price is the same as one across the country, simply isn't true.Keep things like this in mind...

OK to put his to bed for me this will be my last post. I got a few PM's like we were going to gang up and go after each other. This is the deal I build an effective mill and I do not spend as much money on materials as the other materials advertised. I do not see the need. But, to each his own. If others see the need to spend whatever and in turn charge whatever, well, basically that is what makes capitalism so great. As I said, any item is worth whatever someone is willing to pay, regardless of what the next person thinks. So if another can get $5-$6-$700 for their products I can only get $300 for mine, more power to 'em. Best of luck with the mills and the dogs. US1

  13. Just my opinion, but it seems like yall should do less bitching about what Primitive Supply's idea of a fair price for his mills. If you think he's charging an outrageous amount for what he builds, don't buy a mill from him. Don't sit and bust balls over material costs, labor costs and all this other horse shit. His mills (and turntable) look to do the trick just fine by my eyeball, and I honestly think you tend to pay for what you get. Look at his mill and look at a Grand Carpet Mill. His sure looks much more sturdy to me. I think you could ram one of his mills with a fucking Buick Skylark and it wouldn't fold up. If you can't afford $500 look elsewhere...but always remember, you often times pay for what you get. Keep up the good work Primitive Supply, now the real question is do you sell plans to build a turntable or what man?!

Those are good mills...very, very effective and produced results for people that know how to use carpetmills!!! That bulldog looks like a carbon copy to the old Ch. Joe Testiment dog! Top dogmen with top dogs back in the day used those mills, here's a couple to jog the memory of those that were around back then.... R.C. & The Soso Boy and Tito & The Local Boys.
