no actually that amount of stuff around a dogs neck at that age is not good for its development. the weight causes problems and a pulling a heavy chain will also. yeah hes gonna keep the spots by the way. they are there for life. most dogs have them you just dont see them under dark fur. but white dogs and white fur spots lets you see them.

check out the sections on chain setups and make sure you have a swivel on the end or you may find a limp dog at the end one day.

I dont think certain people should see something like that on here,I mean please its just a baby. The right people sees that, you could loose that pup and then you wont need to worry about the spots.Cool looking pup you have there though.

it doesnt take much though at a young age to do damage in a developing dog. You may want to let em get a lil bigger. But then again you may know better than I. Good looken dog.

  12. He aint go no papers but he's mostly colby.. he's 5 months old..

  13. I got his mother from a dogfighter the was useing her for a puppy mill. I breed her with my colby stud. An now i'm gone give her a brake 4 a little while. I kep him just cuz his spots. I'm gone have his DNA checked an get the papers on him when he gets a little older.

How would checking his DNA help you get papers
unless you have papers for the mom and your dog?

cute pup... kinda little for a chain like that dont ya think? Be careful; too heavy of a weight load is not good for a young dog. Can cause bowness of the legs, musce and bone development problems... you will have plenty of time to develop the pup after it gets older. Let its genetics do the work for a while...

  17. rocksteady

    rocksteady I'll drink to that..

So you bred a dog that was already being over bred and only kept one from the litter cause of spots?? SOooooo... that sort of makes you no better than the person you got her from......

Um, see, those locks shouldn't even be on the pup at all. Why are they on their in the first place? As far as the spots go, they are no doubt there to stay. Cute pup, ugly locks/chains/junk around it's neck. Plus I see no fence around your yard. That's okay if your dog isn't chained without supervision, but what's stopping someone from stealing her? I would hope she isn't aggressive.

Plus, why breed a dog with no papers? It's only showing you have no concern for what you are producing.

    The spots will stay . . .

    The locks should go.

    It's a pup, not a wolverine.

    WOW just WOW.
First, do you know what you are doing? I mean are you dogs papered? Why are you breeding them? For color? For spots?
Secondly, please invest some money in a collar. Ya know, that thing you put around their neck, because that chain looks painful. With the locks and all. YOu should go out there get on all four put that crap around your neck and walk around all day. Why was it put a chain so young? That pup doesn't look 13 weeks in that one picture.
Thirdly, why is your dog so close to the road? Don't you think that is dangerous? You obviously need to do some research on how to keep these dogs chained. That chain looks like it could get tangled enough to not allow your dog access to her own dog house.
Lastly, you should fix the dog if it is unpapered, unless you plan to keep all the pups. There is already enough unwanted Pits out there, do you really need to add to the problem?
