I had a litter mate sister to this dog:

We can talk about what we want, and be envious, but this dog is a very, very good quality, I do not know whether the owner has something of it, but the fact is that this dog is a purebred jeep line without inserted Rasca or Red Boy etc,etc

LOL...as I always start any post..."I don't post often" BUT that doesn't look like a "purebred Jeep" hound jeepblood. Sorry but I have seen lotsa variants of jeep and jeep crosses.

 

Idk how the dog is bred but it doesn't look like any "pure" Jeep dog I've seen

BUTCHER'S BIG JOHN

Big Different between Stonewall dogs and Jeep dogs, very different families bred differently. 1 son of Tramp came to Southern Africa with his sister. they were around 25% Jeep and 50% Redboy. He proved to be a very prominent producer producing 2 champions and quiet a few 2xw and 1xw ( 1 being alive and still on the campaign trail NATIVE KENNEL'S ORE ) in less than 10 breeding. This dog produced well when bred to any line from Frisco to Yellow, I do know that there is still some semen avail off him, the last breeding being this 1.

In earlier days his offspring were culled when their owner got out the dogs this included winners, prospects and young pups as no one wanted any of him due to being beat all the time, there was some talk of threats and people being ratted on anyway that is the ugly side of these dogs. This dog would have made ROM easy.

For some reason not many Jeep dogs were brought into the country, there was a line bred daughter of Tab brought in many years ago but she quit and was never used. Closest was the 2 dogs from Frank Rocca however they were line bred Stonewall with traces of Tramp and little bits of Rascal. They have since created different branches of that family, some being line bred creating a new family and others being crossed out with some to little success.

A line bred Jeep / Redboy dog was brought in from the Balkans with 2 other imports but strangely enough she was culled for not started but the other 2 that quit are alive and well :rolleyes: There is a Black Jack x Boudreaux pup supposed to land soon but that is as you guys say not really a Jeep dog.

The guys in Swaziland have successfully maintained the Big John family with line bred and inbred Big John dogs that not many in South Africa are aware of, they have more recently started crossing them into the South African Boyles dogs or Junior dogs.

Not everyone believes in just crosses in the Southern most part of Africa brother, you shouldnt paint everyone with the same brush.
