Site Change?

I believe this site has changed. However, what I like to think about is all the people that this SITE HAS changed. True there are some here that just don't want to "see the light". However, I do know that because of this site, many other people have changed their views on the gamedogs of the breed. They now fully understand what this breed has been, is, & should be about. And isn't this something to be proud of?

 

maybe consider "screening" newbies by asking a series of ?'s and seeing their answers. if someone responds in a way that you know they'll only bring idiocy and contempt to the forum...dont allow them to join. i love this site...im here as much as possible. sometimes just listening to others argue about stuff, sometimes finding out great info and saving for future use or debate, sometimes throwin my two cents in. this is a great site, i agree with takin down "BSL friendly" pics of our dogs, but i am against not allowing debate or info-sharing about 'staffs...or having seperate sections for them. some of us have staffs and bulldogs, and personally, i dont have the time or desire to check out, basically two separte sites to see everything that's goin on here. keep it consolidated, and it'll all be good.

 

This site has changed alot since I joined but were else are you gonna find the info that this site has along with the great members.

 

NO its not dont make me laugh thats the only reason I come on this site because it gives me a good laugh. Any REAL dog man will take this site as a JOKE and yes I like all the jokes on this forum too lol. This site is focused on the game dog? dam stop fooling yourselves. Stop denying and just admit it that this is a non game dog site. If it wasnt for us real dogmen none of you would have any game dogs to go home with then you would all have to play with your BLUE AMSTAFFS. Dont get me wrong I kinda like this site as it amuses me and gives me something to do when Im not working my dogs. Also like I said before this site is really good and infomative to NEWBIES or Ameture dog man that want some general knowledge or information on the ABPT.

 

Then shame on you as a Real dog man for not seeing this site as a valuable tool for your own existance, thus making it an integral part of what will allow you to hide in plain site. If this is a hard concept to wrap your arms around I suggest you acknowledge two of your more prominant colleuges, Frank and Guy.

Dead on for your comment regarding your precious gift of being the source of the game dogs some of us are lucky to have and most just admire, but it will be because of US non-game doggers that you will find it hard to continue "business as usual" especially with your sentiments. The information revolution has made it very hard to do anything covertly today, so joke or not, education, cooperation and compliance of all makes your existance possible, and if we (the majority - non-doggers) fail you will too. And it will be your fault as well because you thought what we (non-doggers) were a joke.

 

This is a nice site that is more geared towards the pet or rescue owners and not the people keeping the breed alive just those destroying it. Maybe with the new changes the site has went through it will become a board geared more towards the dogs and not the number of members it can get to sign up. If a person just looks back to post a year ago they can see more open dog talk was taking place and more pet talk is taking place now.

I honestly dont think a REAL dogman would get on here and announce to the world that he is a REAL dogman ... a REAL dogman (or dogwoman) doesnt need to point that aspect of their lives out ...... since as you put it, they also WOULDNT be posting on here to begin with...

 

I agree with that, but a REAL dogman wouldn't be talking about what "REAL" dogmen usually talk about on the Internet period, not just here.

I'm sorry I didn't want to voice my opinion on erasing the chit chat forum but I am. I liked discussing my everyday life with you guys. Some people on here could offer me valuable information that does not pertain to my dogs. Now I feel that I can't tell you guys what's going on in my life. Why I won't be having internet access for awhile and why I'm now without income. I can't bring it up because the thread will get closed becuase it doesn't have much to do with my dogs. But now I'm single, out of cash and on the verge of a breakdown. Can't discuss it on here though, can I?

 

Amen. Rock's right. Real dogmen don't keep announcing to everyone online that they are a "real dogman" & show/advertise/sell dogs all over the internet.

Sorry, but that makes me laugh. Like I said, "real" dogmen don't come on advertising themselves & putting themselves up on pedastals.

I have only been reading and researching here for about 4 months. I became a Premium Member when I realized this site needs to stay up and running. The information here is very important to all dog owners. As Marty stated "Game-dog.com is an educational site" and I can stay up all nite just reading and learning. I admire the knowledge of most all of the Members. The Administrators are very knowledgeable and try to present a positive image of a Breed of Dogs that are constantly under attack somewhere in the US and other Countries. Joel

 

I haven't been on here long enough to know what it used to be like. But I do get a chuckle when I hear folks calling it a pet-oriented site. I'm on 8 forums, and this is probably the least pet-oriented as far as Pit Bull forums go. I think there's a lot of good general information available here. It may not be strictly game dog info, but I know where I'd come if I ever had a question that was up that alley.

Aaaaanyway. I don't own a gamedog. I may never own one, for various reasons. But, even after 17 years messing with these dogs, I still enjoy learning everything I can, and being on boards where I can talk with other APBT people, pet owner and dogger alike. I may not see eye-to-eye with everybody, but sometimes I think that different groups of APBT fanciers can mutually benefit from each other, even on different ends of the spectrum.

 

I say keep it like it is. I say this for may reasons. Most of you know just where I am coming from.

 

to be truthful, for me it has changed alot i haven't been able to get on here as much as i'd like due to work and the ball at the end of my chain. lmao
but i like whats i see and look forward to posting and reading as much as i can.

The sight has changed a lot, I notice a different type of pit owner on here now, It is because the dogman willing to give wisdom to the new dog men have all been ticked off or left. They were the ones that keeped the wannabe dogmen away and sent them to the cur sights like pit bull fourm. Marty and shon You are dogmen What Happend, sight wasn't making enough money, if so well Maybe you should think about changing the name OR go get thoses who you made leave or chased away so we can bring the game back to game-dog.com

 

I agree!! You want to know what I think? Most of you probably don't, I dont care. I think that all these currs that have came about like staffs and all these other big mutts are the problem. The ones so called attacking ppl, People are buying these dogs and no nothing about the breed. These staffs ect. are not game/true pitbulls. Pitbulls are eager to please there owners and are supposed to except who their owners except. These big out of shape currs are the ones biting ppl and ruining the pitbulls rep because they are biting out of fear. We all know there is no fear in an APBT. ( I know this might be off subject, sorry, I just had to say it. This hole media thing and all these currs really piss me off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
